GASTOWN SHOP HOP:
November 4th is the Winter 2010 Gastown Shop Hop; a night where Gastown stays open late and all the wild and wonderful shops offer exclusive discounts and complimentary beverages to it’s lovely patrons.  This year is themed ‘1920s’ and the shops will be giving out some old fashioned treats and drinks – hopefully in costume as I of course will be – and each participating shop will have a giant red bow indicating it’s participation.

AMPERSAND:
Every Friday in October Planet Claire has been hosting a Live Painting Series with local Vancouver artists who come down and collaborate on art pieces. The very last one is this Friday the 29th, and since it is the start of Halloween weekend, there will be best costume prizes and all sorts of spooky fun.
