Ohh, so in love with everyone at Eco Fashion Week! It was Vancouver’s first fashion week dedicated to eco fashion, and what a breath of fresh air!  Myriam Laroche contacted me from Montreal earlier this year, and we chatted about her idea of creating an eco-fashion week in Vancouver.  With a ton of determination, great volunteers and very willing, passionate people, she did it! There’s been great reviews, which I have linked to below; everything from Flare Magazine to David Suzuki and The Vancouver Sun!  As one of the few boutiques in Vancouver catering to ethical and sustainable clothing, and a retailer of most of the Vancouver designs featured, I was so proud and happy to see how great  the shows were, and how the community really came together, in a city where fashion can sometimes be more divisive than unifying.  Can’t wait for February for even more involvement, designers and fantastic-ness!
